Before we head into the last quarter of the year, let’s take a few minutes to highlight some notable announcements made over the summer in the V1 portfolio.
Launches and product updates
Jobber launched several new automated sales and marketing features to help home services companies (like landscapers, electricians, plumbers, painters, and cleaners) grow their businesses. It’s a good reminder that big companies can be built outside SV/SF.

Dapper announced Flow, a fast, secure, and developer-friendly blockchain built to support the next generation of games, apps, and the digital assets that will power them.
You can now earn BTC through Lolli by shopping at over 900 retail locations.
Top Hat awarded scholarships worth a combined $100,000 USD to five exceptional North American students for their academic achievements and the positive learning environments they helped foster.
Celo is launching an Ecosystem Fund, supported by Polychain and A16z.
Ada is partnering with FINCANEX to deliver AI-Powered customer service to financial institutions across Canada.
